The classic black necktie, reimagined with an edgy feminine twist. The Midnight Pearl Tie is a study in contrast—merging the strict, masculine lines of traditional tailoring with the soft, luminous glow of hand-sewn pearls. It’s a bold fresh take that proves edge and elegance aren't mutually exclusive.

  • The Contrast: High-lustre faux pearls are scattered in an organic, constellation-like pattern across matte-black fabric.

  • The Hardware: Features a hidden adjustable sliding neck strap, ensuring a perfect, custom fit for any collar—from a crisp poplin button-down to a drapey silk blouse.

  • The Silhouette: A modern, narrow profile that keeps the look sharp and avant-garde, ensuring the pearls act as the sculptural focal point.

  • The Versatility: Skip the necklace and wear it with a blazer to add textured detail to traditional tailoring. Or dress up jeans and a casual button up.

Why I Handpicked It: I’m obsessed with pieces that challenge expectations. This isn't just a tie; it’s a statement of intent. It gives you that Editor-in-Chief authority while keeping a touch of whimsy and light-catching detail near your face.

The Utility Cascade

The trouser chain is no longer just a relic of 90s skate culture. At The Brooch House, we’ve reimagined it as a structural styling tool. The Utility Link Cascade is designed to add dimension and architectural edge to your favourite silhouettes.

  • The Dual-Drape: This piece features two layered chains: a substantial, classic curb link and a delicate faux pearl chain, creating an instant dimensional look.

  • The Swivel Clasp: Anchored by a heavy-duty, decorative lobster clasp, it’s designed to attach securely to any belt loop.

The Versatility:

This piece is a true multi-tasker, engineered to pivot across your entire wardrobe:

  • The Trouser Transform: Drape it effortlessly from a belt loop to add an architectural cascade to denim or tailored trousers.

  • The Statement Necklace: Unhook the clips and wrap it around your neck to transform the double strands into a layered, statement necklace.

  • The Handbag Edit: Clasp the carabiners to the straps of your handbag. It instantly updates a classic tote or crossbody with a custom, high-end hardware detail that makes an old favourite feel like a brand-new find.

Why I Handpicked It: This is the epitome of making your basics feel brand new. It’s a sophisticated conversation starter that changes the entire context of your favourite pants. The Junction Link
$25.00

By mixing cool silver-toned chain links with warm, structural brass clasp, a simple staple has become a deliberate design choice. It’s the perfect piece to let your silver and gold jewelry live together in harmony.

  • The Clasp: A bold, carabiner-style junction that acts as the centrepiece. It’s meant to be worn front and centre, adding a touch of industrial edge to your look.

  • The Weight: A substantial, high-shine curb link but still light enough for all day wear.

  • The Mixed Metals: The contrast between the silver chain and the golden clasp is intentional—it’s designed to pull your entire accessory look together. The antique brass carabineer style clasp connects a single strand brass chain to a double layer silver toned chain link.

Why I Handpicked It: I love accessories that solve a style problem. The Junction Link is the answer to the “can I wear silver and gold together?” question. It’s the anchor of the collection—clean, modern, and just a little bit tough.

The Etched Heart

The heart pendant is a classic for a reason. But for The Brooch House, I wanted a version that felt more lived-in and less precious. This isn't your average polished pendant; it’s a substantial piece designed to anchor your favourite basics.

  • The Texture: The heart features an etched finish that catches the light in a raw, organic way, giving it an artisanal feel.

  • The Build: Suspended from a sturdy, modern link chain with a heavy-duty clasp that's meant to be seen, not hidden.

  • The Versatility: It’s bold enough to stand alone but it truly shines when layered with The Junction Link for a more is more mixed-metal look.

Why I Handpicked It: I love pieces that do the heavy lifting for you. Throw this on over a white tank or a denim jacket, and suddenly your staples feel like a deliberate style choice.

The Hammered Petal Brooch
$30.00

Forget the delicate floral clichés of the past. For The Brooch House, I wanted a flower that felt forged, not fragile. The Hammered Petal Brooch with it’s custom magnetic closure is a masterclass in architectural styling.

  • The Texture: A hammered metal in an antique gold finish that creates a multi-dimensional glow.

  • The Closure: Rather than a traditional pin, I have customized this brooch with a strong magnetic closure to ensure the metal sits flush against fabrics while protecting delicate fabrics.

  • The Scale: Substantial and deliberate. At approximately 3.5", it’s.oversized silhouette and raw, light-catching texture turn a traditional accessory into a bold, modern statement.

The Versatility:

  • The Outerwear Anchor: Pin it high on the lapel of a structured trench or a bold blazer (as shown). It adds a touch of romance to masculine tailoring.

  • The Romantic Update: Use it to secure the bow of a sheer or silk tie-neck blouse. It adds weight and modernizes a feminine look, making it feel current rather than precious.

  • The Off-Duty Detail: Pin it to a simple white tank or tee. This high-low styling trick is the quickest way to make a $10 staple look like a curated designer ensemble.

Why I Handpicked It: It’s where feminine curves meet industrial texture. I love how the raw, hammered metal grounds the softness of the flower, making it the perfect focal point to anchor a modern look.

$30.00

All pricing in CAD. Enjoy tax-free shopping on all orders across Canada and the US.

This pairing, available in silver or gold tones, combines our classic Utility Drape Pin and one of the pearl pins from our Pearl Duo. The two pair perfectly on a blazer lapel but both are equally stunning on their own as well.

The Solo Pearl

This pin takes a classic heirloom aesthetic and gives it a modern, functional job description. These gold or solver toned, high-shine safety pins are designed to be the secret weapon in your styling kit.

  • Structural Hardware: Built with a reinforced safety clasp that provides a secure hold on everything from a lightweight cotton jersey to heavy tailoring.

  • Clean Geometry: The parallel lines of five high lustre faux pearls pearls add a modern, architectural element to any fabric they anchor.

The Utility Drape Pin

The safety pin is a design icon, but The Utility Drape Pin is a structural, high-shine upgrade. It isn't just an accent; it’s a functional styling tool. Designed with a sleek, oversized silhouette and a double-tier of delicate curb chains, it’s the ultimate undone detail that makes your favourite blazer feel like a custom designer piece.

  • The Drape: Two tiers of varying chain lengths that create natural movement and light-catching depth. Available in gold or solver tones.

  • The Hardware: A sturdy, reinforced safety-clasp designed to pierce through heavy wool and denim without losing its shape.

The Versatility:

  • The T-Shirt Pinch: Use The Solo Pearl pin to gather and pinch the hem of a basic tee. It creates a custom, cropped silhouette that looks modern and deliberate.

  • The Structural Closure: Use either pin it as a functional closure for an open blazer or a wrap coat. It offers utility while adding a focal point.

  • The Pocket Accent: Pin them to the lapel or pocket of your favourite blazer . Or you can even add a dash of shine to your favourite denim,

  • The Mixed Media Look: Try pairing The Solo Pearl with the The Utility Drape Pin chain-link brooch. Stacking the pearls alongside gold chains creates a curated, multi-textural look that feels entirely custom.

Why I Handpicked It: I love the contrast of the delicate pearls against the weight of the curb chain. This is one of my favourite pairings in the collection. I love to style it with The Pearl Edit Ear Jacket and The Junction Link.

Behind the Curation

First things first. To brooch or to broach? I asked myself the same thing, you are not alone. And while I am always happy to broach the subject of style, here at The Brooch House I specialize in the brooch. And whether you spell it with an ‘o’ or an ’a’ you are in the right place.

And speaking of the brooch, I have always been obsessed with the art of getting dressed—specifically, how a single, deliberate detail can change the entire narrative of a look. I love the friction of adding delicate gold accents to an oversized masculine blazer, or the way a heavy, industrial chain anchors a strand of pearls.

Every piece in this house is a deliberate choice, selected for its weight, its history, and its ability to serve as that unexpected focal point. As I built this collection, I fell in love with the hunt. I’ve spent months ordering samples, styling them, and assessing their quality. Only if a piece proves its versatility and statement-making ability does it make the cut. Sometimes, I’ll even alter a piece to make it more functional—like replacing traditional pins with magnets on the hammered petal brooches to protect your favourite fabrics from the weight of the metal.

As for the pieces that don’t meet my standards? Let’s just say my ten-year-old daughter has a very impressive accessory collection.

Right now, the collection is small but mighty—curated to integrate seamlessly into your wardrobe. Thank you for being part of this journey; I’m so excited to see where we go from here.
