Where do you source your products?
Every piece in the collection is hand-selected because it offers something unexpected—a mix of architectural integrity and refined beauty. My curation process is a search for the unexpected: where a heavy, hammered metal meets a delicate silhouette. I spend my time hunting for those rare, unexpected pieces that have the power to transform a classic silhouette into a signature look.
Once I have handpicked my favourites, I order a sample and personally wear and test each sample to ensure quality, durability, and versatility. f it doesn't pass my personal standards, it doesn't make the cut.
In some cases, I’ll even alter a design to improve its function—like replacing traditional pins with high-strength magnets on our metal floral brooches to ensure they are both sturdy and garment-friendly.

What is your return policy?
Because each piece is handpicked and our collection is highly curated, we have a specific approach to returns:
Canada: We want you to love your find. If a piece doesn’t resonate, we accept returns for Store Credit (excluding the original shipping fee) within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original, unworn condition with all packaging intact. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
United States: All international orders are Final Sale. Due to the logistical complexities of cross-border shipping, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on orders shipped to the US.
What if my order arrives damaged?
In the rare event that a piece arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, please contact us immediately with a photo of the item and the packaging. We’ll make it right.
Can I change my order after it is placed?

Where do you ship?
The Brooch House currently ships to all provinces in Canada and the contiguous United States.
At this time we are not able to ship to PO Boxes.
Note for US Customers: At this time, we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories (PR, VI, GU, AS, MP), or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Currently, we only ship to physical street addresses in Canada and the contiguous United States to ensure reliable delivery via our courier partners. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses at this time.
When can I expect my shipment?
We believe in getting your new favourite piece to you as safely and quickly as possible. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
Canada: Delivery in 2–3 business days.
Contiguous US: Delivery in 4–8 business days.
What are the shipping costs?
As a small, independent boutique, we don’t have the massive shipping volumes of big-box retailers, but we do have a unique advantage for our customers: Tax-Free Shopping. Because we are a small Canadian business, we do not currently collect GST/HST in Canada or state sales tax in the US. In most cases, the tax you save more than covers the cost of shipping.
Canada: $4.99 Flat Rate. Delivery in 2–3 business days.
Contiguous US: $9.99 CAD Flat Rate. Delivery in 4–8 business days.

One of the perks of shopping with a small Canadian boutique is that most US orders under $800 USD enter the country duty-free. Additionally, because we are based in Canada, we do not collect US State Sales Tax at checkout—meaning the price you see is typically the final price you pay.

How do I care for my jewelry?
To maintain the structural integrity and lustre of your jewelry, we recommend the Last On, First Off rule—make it the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. A gentle buff with a soft cloth is all you need. Avoid contact with moisture, perfumes or lotions to keep them glowing.

My purchase is a gift, can I send a gift note?
Absolutely, we are honoured that you have selected The Brooch House for your gift. If you are having a piece sent directly to your loved one, ensure you include their name and address in the shipping information and simply add your message in the gifting form at checkout. We will ensure your note is tucked into our signature packaging.

What currency are your prices in?
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). For our US customers, your bank will automatically handle the conversion at their current exchange rate.
